TOP QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
THAI MASSAGE AND "REGULAR" MASSAGE?
Thai Massage (or Thai Yoga Massage) is an eastern approach to manual therapy and is traditionally done on a mat on the ground. You are fully clothed and is typically a more active type of treatment. There is a strong emphasis on stretching and twisting which gets incorporated during/between deep massage. The Practitioner uses techniques such as acupressure, compression and joint mobilization.
WHAT IS THE PROPER ATTIRE FOR A THAI MASSAGE SESSION?
Anything that allows your body to have movement comfortably. Personally I would suggest pajamas! but you can also wear what you would wear to a yoga class. Clients need to bear in mind they will be twisting and stretching continually, so the attire needs to allow for that.
DO YOU TREAT PATIENTS WITH SEVERE HEALTH PROBLEMS?
No, unless you have your doctor refers you to me
I'M NOT SURE WHAT KIND OF MASSAGE IS BEST FOR ME, WHAT SHOULD I BOOK?
